Garmin’s Forerunner 305 is not really a GPS navigation device but does have some simple routing and mapping capabilities.  As you are moving along, you will be able to pinpoint various locations and you can use the zoom feature to determine where you are on the map.  You can program the device so that you will be directed back to your starting location if desired.  And, best of all, you can mark destinations along the way and you will be directed to them via the Forerunner 305.  These destinations can be saved so that can take the same route during future excursions.  This feature is wonderful and allows you to return time and time again to your favorite locations and routes.
